Just a plain old fashioned restaurant. Probably remodeled about 30 years ago. Get the broiled plate. It is great.
This continues to be one of our "go-to" places when we are in the area and want a quick meal. The food is consistently good, the restaurant clean, and the service provided by sweet and helpful wait staff.
Food was delicious and prices were great as well. Our server was not well informed and had difficulty answering questions about the menu but we made good decisions. Would definitely recommend for good seafood.

Plenty of seating with plenty of area. Tables weren't pushed in together. Great lighting. Waitress was good. My mom got perch. She said it was great. I got a salad. Ranch dressing was too thin, runny. Would eat here again
If you're looking for some good, old fashioned fried seafood in the Mount Airy area, you owe it to yourself to stop by this restaurant. Everything was what we were craving! The only negative was that the inside temperature of the building was stuffy. Hopefully that's not always a problem there.

Mother's Day dinner for six of us, with it being Mother's Day several large groups were waiting to be seated as well as some couples. We waited just a short time and were seated. Drinks delivered quickly and order taken. Food silvered fast. Broiled Flounder, Broiled Salmon, Broiled , Seafood Salad, Fried White Fish, and Chicken all delivered hot and ready to eat with the sides requested. Great food delivered hot and fast. Servers were helpful and nice.
